Footloose on Friday...

I've taken Friday off in preparation for going down to the Arlington Central Library and demonstrating cardweaving (in Elizabethan period dress, to boot) on Saturday -- you're all welcome to come by. I'll probably wind up doing at least two bands, given that Renaissance Faire is from 10am-3 pm and it tends to go quickly when I'm not explaining things to people.

But anyway -- I'll be free all day on Friday. And bored. Anyone with free time to meet up for lunch, a stroll around downtown, or dinner and a movie? I'm not picky, though I should probably get my hair cut sometime that day.

well, of course I'll bring my cameras. Whether I can get anyone to take pictures and whether they're any good or not is up to fate.

I'll try to get ones showing me spinning on my akha and Turkish spindles. Those are odd enough that people haven't seen them.

Anyway, the local Barony doesn't meet anywhere that's accessible by public transportation, so of course I don't get a chance to play with them.

PS... If we meet at the Eastern Market Metro, there are lots of cafes *and* a yarn shop!
