What a wet, miserable afternoon... made brighter by a good cup of hot chocolate, and the fact that my surcote finally came!
I ordered this in May of 2005 with the idea of wearing it to The Witching Hour. Unfortunately, the maker, Chrisitine of Misty Tower Fiber Arts, had family trouble and was quite delayed. She did get the undergown finished, and sent me a loaner overgown (which the hotel almost lost because they couldn't spell my name, regardless of the fact that it was *my* credit card that paying for the room).
But it's here now, and it's so pretty...
I will be set for any RenFaire in the future. And possibly if I wanted to dress as Time Lady for Halloween, too. Think I could be Madame President Flavia?
