NY strip steak, chicken borek, beef borek, a dozen eggs, cracked black pepper chevre, red plums, red potatoes, brown sugar kettle corn, cherry-lime kettle corn, apricot almond cookies, buttermilk cake, 3 Italian sausage handpies, 2 Taste of India handpies, 1 tart cherry lemon pound cake, 1 stack blue-be-doodles, 1 stack loaded oatmeal, 1 banana split bar, and a box of cookie bloopers.

No black raspberries or saskatoons this week; they may be over for the year.

My black raspberries are just about done, and I'm a good bit North. Sadly, I don't expect to be able to buy figs this year.

What happened to your local figs? We're not getting apricots this year locally, because there was a cold snap when the fruits were the size of lima beans, according to one farmer I asked about it.

Figs are sold only at Whole Foods and they are too far to walk to and back.
