Cracked pepper chevre, cherry blossom (cherry-lime) kettle corn, quart of mixed berry smoothie, quart of chocolate milk, sage-mint lemonade, shiso-orange mint lemonade, baklava, chicken börek, small yellow straightneck squash, quart of new potatoes, pint of shelled peas, 4 cheddar biscuit, a loaf of country white bread, a slice of buttermilk cake with caramel icing, 2 Taste of India handpies, vegetarian pizza handpies, 2 pulled pork handpies, a dark chocolate orange scone, a gouda & scallion scone, a box of PBJ Squares (with peach jelly), and a box of raspberry almond squares.
The market was busier than it's been in weeks, to the point where I didn't quite feel comfortable with so many people around.
Also, there was a busker performing at the entrance, and not wearing a mask; I feel sympathetic because if you are a busker you need to have live performances, but on the other hand, singing is one of the most dangerous activities to do, as you are projecting your voice and your air droplets out forcefully. The fact that we're outside only helps slightly, when you're by one of the few entrances to the plaza, and the only one that doesn't require the use of steps.

That one might take some investment in costuming, though, since he'd also need boots and a Stetson at the very least.

Himself might be able to find the boots at a thrift shop, and they'll be suitably broken in. Alas, hats at thrift shops are almost never proper cowboy hats -- that might have to be an investment.
Otoh, bandana fabric will make a nifty face mask!

A Stetson would be an investment, true -- but a real Stetson will last for decades. And up here in the north country, a good hat is an actual necessity. Himself already has a top hat that he uses for his classical magician's outfit, and a nice floppy-brimmed leather hat that he uses for his Rennfaire getup; the leather hat he also just wears as a regular hat for things like yard work and outdoor EMT runs. (That one ran about $60 from Etsy, and has been worth every dollar. Like a Stetson, it should last for decades. But it's not Western wear, alas.)
Himself also just likes hats.
