I made mushroom bacon today, adapting this recipe to the ingredients I have -- using hickory vinegar instead of liquid smoke to give it a hickory flavor, no tamari or miso paste.
It turned out pretty well, and added a nice bit of protein and savoryness to the vegetable stir-fry I made.
