After a very short trip to the Office Depot, a bit of wrangling with a salesguy who did not understand that when I told him I wanted to see the HP model F380, I wanted the HP F380, not the laser printers that started at $300, and three hours of wrangling to get both the scanner and print sides installed, I have a functioning printer/scanner!

Go me!

Of course, this means I missed book group today in consequence, but I'm thinking it was worth it.

Look for doodles to go up on theclockworkdog soon. I'm not a great artist by any means, but you'll get to see what Iros and Turnspit look like, more or less.

Very cool! I just got a fax/scanner/printer and I'm still playing around with all the doodads. You will have much fun.
