DC locals... Upcoming Music Concerts

My favorite regional band, Groovelily, is going to be performing *two* shows on January 27th at the Black Rock Center for the Performing Arts. The tickets are quite reasonable at $25-28, so let me know if you'd like to come and I'll buy tickets in a clump.

I'd also like to go to the Amikaeyla performance n Feb 10th for my birthday. If anyone else is interested, it should be a nice show, and there are some rather good places to eat locally.

Steve and I would like to go on the 27th (an early evening show would be ideal.) I think I've heard Amikaeyla before, if I'm remembering the right person-- I think she used to guest with Kiva -- and if so she's awesome.
