Pink lady apples, dried apple snacks, chevre, quark, dragon's breath cheese -- only about four vendors were at the market today, but it was only 14F at 11:30, so I don't blame the rest for staying away.
The weather service keeps sending out cold weather and wind chill alerts; it's brutally cold. I was wearing ankle boots, lined wool trousers, tights, over-the-knee socks, two shirts, two scarves, a heavy wool sweater, a genuine duffle coat, cashmere-lined gloves, and a felted-wool hat, and was only warm when the wind wasn't blowing.
I did take 2 pairs of shoes and a pair of shearling boots to the cobbler, so I should be able to pick them up next week; hopefully it will be warm enough that I won't need the boots before then...
