I ordered a bottle of Madagascaran Vanilla and a bottle of Mexican Vanilla among other things like whole nutmeg from Penzeys recently, mainly because the local store closes at 6pm and it's almost impossible me to get there after work.
Yesterday I got the box, and when I opened it, there was only the bottle of Mexican Vanilla. I emailed Penzeys.
Now, while they promptly apologized, this was the email I got from them:
Of course, I got home too late to call them... so back to email, pointing out that I was missing the Madagascaran Vanilla, not the Mexican. I mean, I even included the item number in my first email... .

Thank you so much for emailing us regarding the missing item in your spice order. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I have already entered a new sales order for the missing 8 oz. bottle of Mexican Vanilla Extract, which will leave our warehouse for you today.
