My town just had a hailstorm, with hailstones the size of glass marbles -- between 1 and 2 cm in diameter.

That's pretty weird -- we don't get hail as a rule. I hope we're not in for a summer of weird weather...

Ugh. No major damage I hope? To any garden stuff you had out, hail that size can flatten you!

Nods. As long as the main stem isn't broken, a lot of things recover from leaf damage.

Yep, I was certainly glad that only minutes before it started pelting down, I had decided to run indoors on the treadmill since it was so muggy outside... and I'd just rigged the hanging mechanism for our flower and tomato baskets, and am happy to report that both the ragging and the plants survived intact and our balcony is the only one looking alive yet :)

Cars seem to have taken it in their stride, at least the Audi that I watched get hammered outside the gym looked just fine afterwards...

The power's been fluctuating too. I was in the Old Town Ace, getting some more supplies for my Science March sign, and the power died. I couldn't buy my stuff because the register there won't even open with the power off.

:-(

Yes...

We got hail here too, but it was only pea size and stopped quickly. Of course, as soon as the sky started throwing rocks, I started hollering at it to quit that, so this may have helped.
