Ugh, sore...

I helped a friend with yardwork yesterday -- took apart three rosebushes, trimmed another, and pruned back a fig tree, among other things. I am tired, and sore, and probably won't get anything done today that requires lifting anything heavier than a plate.

But it was fun, for values of fun that include getting caught on thorns and pulling up grape vines.

Heh, nature's so untidy. I'm starting to get into my leaf raking workout for the season.

Three of us working together filled 12 yard waste bags. We only stopped when sun was down far enough that we would have been stumbling around in the dark if we didn't.
