Is it just me, or does this gorgeous photo look just a little improbable in its gorgeousness, like it should be the cover to an SF novel about terraforming Mars or a background to a Star Trek episode. It's the pink cloud, I think
I've had that feeling periodically -- especially on that one lovely cruise to the Bahamas -- "That view looks like a postcard, I can't believe I'm seeing it IRL!" Sometimes we get the really gorgeous sky going on locally (the advantage to living in the Great Plains, not a lot in the way of landscape but one hell of a lot of sky) but my camera can't capture it the way my eye can.
When I lived in New Mexico, I'd see improbably gorgeous sunsets on a regular basis, with lots of purples and pinks, but this picture is just spectacular.
