Noir Films this weekend and next

The Noir City DC film festival starts Friday and runs through October 30.

I'm planning on seeing The Postman Always Rings Twice this Sunday and maybe Native Son on the 26th. If you also like noir films, it's a fun festival -- they show classics, but also obscure films that haven't made it to DVD yet.

It looks good, but it's at 1, and 5 hours is a long time to have lunch. :)

It's not like my apartment is 6 blocks from the AFI theater or anything... you could bring more HAVEN episodes. I am completely hooked, and resorted to watching some of the episodes on Hulu. Audrey seems to be a Nathan/Duke shipper, of all things.

I'm supposed to be getting the last disc of Season 1 in the mail today, so S2?

PS The Red Line is running buses from Fort Totten to Silver Spring today. You might want to leave extra early.
