I woke up with a headache this morning, which I thought was probably just a combo of PMS and the low pressure from the storm coming through the area.

But it's almost nine, the alleve I took earlier has worn off, and I've been shivering on and off since I got home, and I think I have the beginnings of an earache. Given that I just got a flu shot this afternoon, it's going to suck if I'm sick tomorrow.

The only good thing would be that I do have 6 days of leave saved up, so being sick for a day or two wouldn't be a huge hardship.

Aw, sorry you're feeling bad. I think something is going around - one of my coworker came back after being sick for 3 days and he still has a cough. He's in poor health to begin with, so his cold really knocked him down. Hope you feel better soon!

Flu shots can give you flu-like symptoms for 24 hours, unfortunately. It always happens to me. Keep up your anti-pyretic of choice and fluids and you should be fine within a day. Hope that's all it is!

I'm not sure if it's flu-like symptoms or a particularly brutal period, but I feel terrible and just want to sleep. I'm calling in sick today, and they'll just have to deal with it.
