I've decided that there needs to be a scene in my DCnU/Original DC Comics story where Piper sneaks a large group of people into a building by playing With Catlike Tread

Also, talking with ellen_fremedon, we decide that there should be a support group for parents of meta and superhero kids in the DC Universe called P-SUPE (pronounced 'pea soup').

...or, actually, she probably sends them invitations to the chat room. Virtual meetings address both potential security issues and impractical commutes--it's a long way between, say, El Paso and Gotham City.

Certainly, a lot of it would be on-line, but at least in big cities there would be face-to-face meetings.
