I really hope Mirable gets accepted, since it's one of my favorite SF stories -- 5 linked short stories, actually -- and it's all about ecology and bioscience, with a bit of interesting anthropology thrown in as well.

Well, for Mirabile, it's either Yuletide or writing stories myself, so I figured that it couldn't hurt to ask for it.

I could write it myself, if I had the faintest trace of a plotbunny...

Apropos of nothing, I took two hours and typed up most of the notes I had on the SPN AU with angels being modeled off birds of prey. I couldn't find a good place to mention leks, though.
