Thistil Mistil Kistil -- ten-year old Coal dies and goes to Valhalla, but before he's allowed inside, he's given a quest to retrieve fragments of the gods' weapons that Loki stole long ago (of course he did) and bring them back.
The art is really lovely (think The Secret of Kells), the character design is kind of amazing, and the Viking culture is well researched and the nasty aspects aren't glossed over. I'm ridiculously amused that Freyr has pointed ears (because he's the god associated with elves, hee!), Jormungandr is quite adorable for a giant serpent, and that Loki is kind of a dingbat.
And I covet Loki's cloak.
