The A/C stopped working last night -- and while I called this morning, I only got the machine.

When I got home, there was a box fan at my door, but no evidence that the A/C was actually repaired.

I'll call again in the morning. If I don't get an actual person this time, I'll leave a message asking them to leave a message.

I never got a confirmation number for the service request I put in last night-- nor, more to the point, has my #^&$* sink been fixed.

I have to give my management credit -- the kitchen sink gets fixed at once.

Otoh, it took a week last summer to fix the leak that had rainwater coming through the patio door!

And given how bad this weekend's weather is going to get, I want the A/C working!

If I don't have reliable A/C by Friday, I'll ask around at my friends -- I can crash on a couch for a few days.

The office is in my building, but they close up before I get home, and they're not open on weekends.

Basically, I'm going to call and either talk to someone, or leave messages.

I'm also going to be researching my town's housing laws tomorrow. I suspect noticeably unrepaired A/C units comes under the town or county jurisdiction.
