I think I'm going to write a follow-up, probably two, to We Sat Down and Wept.

Jörmungandr and Fenrisulf want to talk to me. Neither of them is reassuring, you know? The Migard Serpent has *plans* to break the Doom of the Gods if the Winchesters manage to avert *their* Destinies by averting the Apocalypse ... and the Wolf wants revenge, and he wants it *bloody*.

They're kind of scary, because they've both got aspects of their father Gabriel/Loki.

Strangely, Jörmungandr has the wisdom and compassion -- I think he got curious about humanity in his isolation and went looking. He also has figured out the bilocation trick, which is how he can be on the bottom of the sea eating whales, kraken, and the occasional submarine, and walking among humanity.

Fenrisulf is the one who *looks* like his father, but he's balls-to-the-wall crazy -- a true shieldbiting berserker. And happily(?!) married/mated, because he *is* a wolf under it all. He's advocating for killing all the Aesir and angels he can get his teeth on -- and making nasty comments about barbecue...

Also, I think that Gabriel's turning himself into girls and mares and all sorts of 'unmanly' actions as Loki was because he didn't have a *clue* about gender norms and couldn't quite get his head around it for the longest time... I might wind up writing the story of how he became the Trickster, got married a couple of times, had kids, and walked away when it fell apart because of 'Destiny' yet again -- I could get a lot of interesting things out of the differences between Asgard and Heaven...
