Winter Wishlist:
Step One
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a [fandom] icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true.
1. Inanna, Queen of Heaven and Earth by Diane Wolkstein or Lady of the Largest Heart
2. Sewing lessons -- it'd probably save me a lot of money in the long run if I could make my own bras and shirts.
3. Fanfiction that is plot-heavy and friendship based featuring Piper & the Flash, or Hank McCoy and Bobby Drake, or just about any characters I've actually talked about in my jounral would be nice.
4 .A day of weeding through my closet -- someone to help me choose what to get rid of /donate.
5. Regularly scheduled museum hops. I live in one of the best cities in the world for museums (extensive, varied, *and* free), and I still don't get down to them often.
6. Bug-proof food storage jars or trip to IKEA for same. (living in a basement apartment is frustrating sometimes...)
7. A trip to NYC to see the Extreme Mammals exhibit -- I'm more likely to actually plan this if I am going to meet up with another person to see it. Unfortunately, it closes Jan 3rd. :( or the same for Montreal in late spring
8. The Justice League 4-season boxed set.
9. A silicone pastry brush that is dishwasher safe.
10. Meet-ups for stage plays -- I like them but I don't go often. Having someone to go with would mean I'd remember to check and GO more often.
If you need to get my address or contact me, just email me through the journal service.

And I am very into museums, and having other people to go with makes me more likely to actually do it, so poke at me if you ever want to see anything.
