My tiny cross-stitch project is going well. I was able to put three hours into it this evening, and it's looking very leek-y.

So, I'm looking for more Textile Heritage kits -- I suppose I could order them for the company directly, but I'd rather not as the exchange rate is never good. Anyone know of a US needlework supplier that carries them? Preferably in the DC Metro area, but I'm willing to order on-line if I have to.

Look at how cute that is! OMG! Good kit. How much do you have left to do?

Some more work on the leaves, and then the back-stitching. I have to say, this company gives you *plenty* of thread in the kit.

Now, I just need to find where I put that Finding Nemo kit down, and I'll have my second project ready to go.

That's looking great.

Unfortunately the one place I know who used to carry most of them has switched to an ebay store. They're called Fantasy Crafts (http://www.fantasycrafts.com/) and they used to carry a really good selection of fantasy/Celtic/etc related needlework designs. They've moved recently, so I can't tell whether they carry the kits still.

ABC Stitch Therapy (http://www.abcstitch.com/designers_php/designers.php?category=Textile%20Heritage) seems to carry some of them online. I've heard good things about them. Most of the others I'm finding are UK based. I don't know of any needlework stores that are too Metro accessible, not on my side of the river anyway, not since the Crystal City store closed up shop years ago. I don't get into Maryland all that often.

Try the eBay seller and compare prices to what they sell it for in the UK. I think (don't quote me) the eBay seller distributes from the US.
