I'm up to over 4,500 words in my first [livejournal.com profile] marveloustales prompt. I hope to be done with it by Wednesday, barring the plot going kudzu on me.

Anyone interested in beta-ing a Marvel 1602 story for Friday posting? I'll need grammar, characterization, and plot, and some knowledge of Elizabethan/Jacobean culture or early colonial America would be much appreciated.

The second prompt has sprouted a Brand/Beast subplot oddly enough. Especially since it's supposed to be a gen story. Of well, it will probably get jossed when I get Astonishing this week, which certainly looks interesting -- and the colors are improved from last issue, which really seemed like a horrible watercolor wash job.

Since I've already given it a pass once, I can look at it again, if you like. :)

*waves* I can give it a look, if you like. As I said a while back, history and dialect aren't my forte, but I know 1602 and the regular canon.

Well, it's currently at 5000 words, and will probably be closer to 7000 or 8000.

You up for that on Wednesday?
