sanj was very nice and went with me as an enabler when I went shoe shopping today. My lovely brown frog clogs are blown at the heel, and so I had to get new ones. Last night, we hit DSW, and did manage to find some brown Born shoes on discount, but I really needed to get a variety so that I didn't destroy another pair in six months...ETA: We went to Comfort One Shoes in Dupont Circle today, the one that carries the funky European brands.

A Pikolinos 'Romana' Mule -- totally cute cut-outs and embroidery, for a fantastic dress shoe.
El Naturalista Iggdrasil N095 -- swirl on a frog shoe, if not quite as cute as the brown frog clogs.
Also, the local funky clothing store Amano carries El Naturalista? wtf?! Maybe I should check them out tomorrow and see if they can special order shoes... I'd sure like their *lace-up* shoes.
