There is a street festival -- Arts on Foot -- this Saturday, from 11 to 5, in front of the National Portrait Gallery/American Art Musuem. This is between Gallery Place and Archive Metro and should be fairly nifty.

On Sunday, the Takoma Park Folk Festival is happening from 11 to 6:30 at Piney Branch Middle School in Takoma Park -- there are free shuttles from the Takoma Metro. This is a *big* festival, with 7 stages and a maze of commerical and community booths. I'm going so that I can make a fool of myself with the folk dancing, among oter things.

Anyone intererseted in either one? I'd love to meet up with people.
