I have *never* bitten into a banana and gone "Mmmmmm"... until yesterday.
The Fair Trade bananas that I bought at the co-op are so good that I made happy noises. Well, worth the extra cost, then.
I don't have a similar reaction to Fair Trade chocolate, though I do try to buy it because I'd rather not support slavery, so I am fairly surprised.
Has anyone else found another surprisingly good Fair Trade food?

Some Fairtrade tea is excellent, but again I wonder if it isn't the variety; the best is from Sri Lanka.
We also get an organic Fairtrade chocoate called Maya Gold from Green and Black's, which is very good indeed. I don't know if you can get them in the US, but they are well worth trying; dark chocolate flavoured (but not too strongly) with orange and spices, and also available as a spectacularly good hot chocolate mix.
