An overly broad application of anti-obscenity panic, apparently. The relevant post (http://community.livejournal.com/lj_biz/241182.html) was last weekend at lj_biz.
Basically, I want another bolt hole if LJ decides to be stupid -- or just in case there is another power outage.
I've gone and signed up as murasaki99 on greatestjournal. Seems to be working ok. I know there's a tool out there to help pull off and archive our LJ entries, do you know where I can find it?
Try Brown Betty's Guide to backing up your LJ (http://brown-betty.livejournal.com/284083.html). I used the 'cautious' method, and got everything onto two back-up journals in less than an hour.
I'm thinking I'm going to need to make a journal for The Clockwork Dog, too; I'm not so happy about that...
