The most wonderful thing about where I'm living is that I can walk to farmer's market on Sundays, see something that would be great in a recipe, realize I don't know what else goes into the recipe, walk home, check the recipe, walk back, and *buy* all the ingredients -- all in 15 minutes.
I did have to buy dandelion greens instead of watercress, but it's an experiment anyway. Why not change a few things if it means less running around trying to find a grocery that has that exact thing in stock.
Also, right now I have the base for blueberry ice cream cooling on my stovetop. I love summer!

I wish our farmer's market was closer. It's a bit of a drive from my house and the local farmer's market is during business hours on Friday, so it is utterly inconvenient to go to. Grr.
Hooray for fresh veggies and fruit!

My container of spread seems to have more red pepper in it than the tester, which is unfortunate (for me, at least, as I seem to be developing a bit of an allergy to hot peppers), but it's still freakin' yummy.
