I received new clothes from Bravissimo on Saturday. I really like one of the tops, but the other two shirts I'm dubious about. Tell me, should I keep either one?

This top makes me look like I've rifled through the wardrobe of Beka from Andromeda. It's cute, but I'm not sure if I could wear it on normal days.

This has really deep armscythes that blouse out if I try to raise my arms high enough to do anything useful -- like take a drink of water.

I haven't cut the tags off either of these shirts, so I can send them back.

The zip top is cute. Could you wear a tank or camisole under it? Because I think that would make it wearable on "normal days".

The armscythes? No. Ick.

Oh, the zip top is cute enough and doesn't really need a camisole. It's just that I'm a little bit petrubed that the first impression it gives is "You too could be a dominatrix! Ask me how!"

Yeah. There is something very weird about how Bravissimo cuts the armscythes on their clothes. I tried their suit jacket last year, and it was cut so tight that I couldn't lift my arms without making the entire jacket ride up. Which annoyed me to pieces, because I *want* a suit jacket that I can button closed.

Like the black one, not the white one!! Actually that white one looks really uncomfortable!!

It's not uncomfortable, just weird with way too much fabric under the arms. That picture makes it look better that it is, because the first time I but it on, it made me look fat, which is NOT what I want from a shirt.

I think I need shirts with collars, though I did like the slit neckline.

Hmmm. Like the black one, but not the white....

I think I like the black one the best. Very nice :)

there's something really odd about the bustline on that white one too. You even look uncomfortable in it. Send it back. I like the black one, but maybe just for clubbing?

oh, I'll wear the black one on the weekends. It's just that my first impression was that I should wear it to an SF con if I ever decided to dress as a Nietzschean.
