String Bag and a roadrunner

I didn't get the job. Phooey. I might apply for another job there, but it doesn't look like it has any labwork at all, so I'm not sure how happy I'd be.

In other news, I got the String Bag finished and recieved a roadrunner.

	Blue String Bag A string bag made from Tahki/Stacy Charles mercerized cotton using the pattern from Simple Crochet. An extra round of single crochet was added to strengthen the handles.
	Roadrunner Fetish A stone roadrunner that twistedchick gave me after her trip to Arizona. She said it reminded her of me.

I'm not sure I'm actually a roadrunner -- I'm a large, ground-bound cuckoo? -- but I also compared to a bee in the last week, so that's okay. Other people see things about me that I don't.

I just wish that one of those things was 'employeable'.

It's a nifty little pattern -- and I have more yarn in a wilder colorway for an even bigger version. It might be my con.txt project.

I don't suppose you'd be interested in a Customer Care (http://www1.qiagen.com/about/Jobs/QSI/CustomerCare.aspx) or Customer Care Superisor (http://www1.qiagen.com/about/Jobs/QSI/CustomerCareSupervisor.aspx) job? They really are a good company to work for, which is why I want to go back to them.

I'm still staying for con.txt -- just give me a place to sleep, and a place to stow my suitcase.

Also, do you want to meet up for dinner before the movie tomorrow? There should be a lot of places to choose from.

The bag came out really nice...the blue is a bit off though, yes? Wasn't more of a royal blue?

That just might be the flash on my camera and the photo editor. It's a royal blue in reality. You'll see it next week, if you like.
