I'm trying to think of goals that actually would pass the smell test:
- become familiar with the database administration routines to generate reports? - participate in another Process Improvement Team? - take training on QC procedure? - something about management training (because I want more money, and working as a tech has plateaued)
It's a pain in the ass and not at all fun.
ETA: I think definitely asking for more management-type training is the thing to do, since I want to move away from what I'm doing. I've been doing tech work for 5 years at this company, and there is no place left to advance in my current office.
