Yeah, but in CM canon--hang on, fact-check--hey, shiny, Googling "criminal minds raphael" pops up a CM/SPN crossover I haven't seen before--yo, fic author, CM and SPN are both pretty firmly tied to S5 being 2009-2010 in story-time, so a season two ep of CM happens three years before a season five ep of SPN, not shortly thereafter--yeah, that's what I thought. In CM canon, Reid kills Hankel/Raphael with an ordinary bullet. Nobody saw any bright lights or any smashed glass or painful noises that might indicate the presence of a vessel-less archangel.
