We've no idea whether the Annunciation happened, though. And my opinion of that retcon has mellowed since the 5x08 airing but I'm still annoyed that the Trickster was my best example of how Showverse is polytheistic and then they made him an archangel. (I have other really good examples now, of course, but I hate how they did Hammer of the Gods.)
