Farmer's Market -- 30 December 2023 (Flail Day, 10th of Snowy, Year 232)

A dozen eggs, a quart of whole milk, plain yogurt, thick-cut bacon, breakfast sausages, ½ pound of blue and gold oyster mushrooms, parnsips, gingerroot, bosc pears, apples (Lucy Glo and Bramley’s Seedling), garlic, 3 huevos rancheros handpies, 2 sloppy joe handpies, a bacon cheddar corn muffin, traditional chocolate chip cookie stack, snickerdoodles, peppermint butter cookies,

I need to pick up dried figs and dried apricots, but I will definitely make some winter fruit salad. I might pick a loaf of bread or maybe even bake one so that I can make soup and have it with crusty bread.

This month on the French Republican calendar everything except the fives and the tens are rocks and minerals, because nothing is growing.
