Chicken cordon bleu roll, orange-and-purple flag violets, purple petunias, garlic & chives chevre, bonein chicken thighs, porterhouse steak, snacking peppers, Anaheim chiles, shennadoah pears, concord graphs, plain yogurt, 3 Three cheese & marinara handpies, 2 cheese steak handpies, a maple chai blondie, an apple cider bundt cake slice, an extreme chocolate chip cookie stack, and a box of cookie bloopers.
This exchange today made me smile:
Bakery stand worker: How are you doing today?
Me: I got vaccinated yesterday, so I that's a worry off my mind -- the new covid booster, the flu shot, and the shingles vaccine.
Bakery stand worker: I though you had to be older to get the shingles vaccine? Like forty-five!
Me: Fifty.
Bakery stand worker: You are not fifty!... Seriously? You don't look it.
Of course, I went home and immediately have vaccine aches and shivers. Hopefully it will be over by tomorrow.
