Farmer's Market -- 16 May 2020 (Bugloss Day, 28th of Flowering, Year 228)

Chicken börek, beef börek, baklava, mozzzarella, pepperjack, a quart of chocolate milk, 'gyro'-spiced chevre, box of cookie bloopers, pint of sugar peas (in the pod; nom!), two boxes of strawberries (jam tomorrow), 9 lbs of ugly tomatoes (soon to be ketchup), a slicer tomato (more caprese sandwiches), a sandwich loaf of country white, 4 cheddar scones, honey butter popcorn, 2 Taste of India handpies, 2 Quesadilla handpies, 2 Chicken Cheesesteak handpies, 1 buttermilk cake slice, 1 bacon cheddar quiche, 1 lemon-doodle stack, and a hanging planter full of Tumbling Tom vining tomato plants.

Because it is in the high 70s today, I wore one of my eShakti sundresses -- and got compliments from three different people, including ellen_fremedon, who I was delighted to run into. It's really great to see friends in actual space nowadays.
