I cast on a new pair on Monday, using some rather nifty Fortissima Socka yarn in one of the Mexiko colorways. But for some reason the balls hadn't been put up in the same direction, so the color changes are going in opposite directions on each sock...
which would normally be the time when I frogged them both and rewound the balls so that they were going in the same direction.
But I'm making Biological Clock socks (with a cabled clock shaped like a DNA helix) from An Eclectic Sole and I kind of like the idea that the colors are anti-parallel.
( What do you think? )
And I really need to get an image editor -- the one on Flickr isn't up to snuff. Any suggestions for an inexpesive program (or freeware)?
