I played with [personal profile] sanj's Wii Fit tonight for a half hour, running through all of the yoga poses that I've unlocked, one of the strength exercises, being hit in the head innumberable times with shoes and toy panda heads, and finally breaking 40 pts on Table Tilt. I feel all stretched out, and my knees feel amazingly flexible.

It's really insanely fun -- possibly because it's low impact exercise with about as little pressure as can be -- possibly because ducking thrown shoes and advancing bear traps adds a certain surreal fun to the exercises...

I really like the yoga poses -- they are set up with indicators graphs that help you determine your balance that I really love.

I am seriously considering saving up for a Wii console and the game -- I'd just have to rearrange my living room for it, and possibly acquire a larger tv, but it might be worth it just for the improved balance. It's certainly comparable with getting a gym membership for a year, and frankly, doing yoga and balance exercises in my living room would be a vast improvement over the few attempts I've made at belonging to a gym
