Possibly I have too many hobbies...

I went to see Stardust yesterday with twistedchick and her SU -- wow, that was lovely and the ad campaign doesn't do it justice. I loved the sky pirates! I love sky pirates in general, but these were excellent ones! I am hoping someone writes Stardust/PotC fic with Jack Sparrow meeting these pirates!

Today, I started another pair of socks, and bought a tambourine, a practice pad and a pair of sticks. I haven't done anything seriously musical since I was in junior high, but I remember how to hold the sticks and I figure I can work the rhythm line in time to one or two songs on iTunes every day and at least get back to being able to hold a beat. I just have to stop rolling the sticks (it is way too fun and easy!) and concentrate on making it clear and on tempo.
