Things might be looking up. I got an email from a recruiter, about a manufacturing job. She wants an updated resume and salary requirements. I'm thinking I should say $43,000 a year. That's slightly more than $20/hr, and given the expense of living in this area, along the lines of what I need.
Should I go up a bit, give myself more of a cushion? It's a biotech manufacturing associate position, and I don't want to price myself out of the market.
In other words, the vaccine researcher position has sent me a form they want filled out, but still aren't promising an interview. On one hand, a university position, on the other, not even a phone interview yet...
