Just trying out a potential Halloween costume, inspired by last week's excursion to the Ren Fest during "Pirate's Weekend".
( Avast ye, scurvy dogs! )The corset and shirt are costume pieces from the Fest, the hat is my usual thing, the skirt is my best velvet piece, and the coat is my new treasure. I just need boots and weaponry to completely the image.
If I don't wear it for Halloween, I'll wear it to The 5th Annual Privateer Feast to Save the Boobies -- a breast-cancer fundraiser in February -- if I can get tickets as well as time off for it.
