I have a plot. A much simpler plot than I thought I'd have.

I have a few good lines, including one asking Kitty if she's an acrobat, and another where Hank feels the need to go put on a shirt because he's been told he dresses like a stripper...

I have an OC that I *think* has a neat power which is balanced and not in Mary Sue territory.

I have an alternate history that is slowly congealing.

Now I just have to excise any incipent plot tumors before they metastize, find a beta that know the Avengers and their current silliness, and write, write, write.

Oh, get someone who knows Canadian French well enough to fix the extremely clunky translated-by-Google dialog fragments into something that sounds as if it could have been spoken in an alternate history Acadia... and hope that [livejournal.com profile] ellen_fremedon doesn't get tired of the Icelandic questions.

I'm not up on the Avengers right now (I'm following the Ultimate timeline), but I'd love to have a look at this, and I'm happy to grammar-beta (unless I get swamped with thesizing).

I adored 1602, and I love me some X-Men.

The first two volumes of Ultimates was wonderful, but what I've seen of the current one is *bad*.

1602 is Neil Gaiman writing Alternate History fanfic. It's GREAT!

I don't suppose you have Canadian French?
