In which I bring the geek...
I got my book-Ravenclaw scarf finished in time for the movie yesterday. Go me!
It's the full version of scarf -- 14 bars altogether, and longer than I am tall...
I have a hank and a half of the blue left, and half a hank of the bronze. I'm either going to make a tam, or pair of gloves. We'll see what works out.
Having seen the movie twice now, I'm rather wanting to make one of those all-house Hogwarts scarves. They're rather nifty, but also very dark and subdued, being mostly black.

Ravenclaw Scarf 80 stitches round, this scarf was made following the atypically.knit pattern. I only cast on 80 stitches, and used a Montadale wool and mohair yarn from a local farm. |

Unfortunately, I'm still getting over a cold, and I really needed the scarf at the theater -- they kept it really cold. And even a pound of wool wasn't enough!

And thanks. It came out well. We'll see how the Berocco Soft-twist looks someday, after I finish all the Xmas gifts.

I'm glad it came out well! And oh, that will be cool, post-holiday. ^_^

And it don't really take much to be subtle compared to the House scarves... ^_~
