It is too cold out to go grocery shopping, but I have laundry to do and my annual self-evaluation to finish for work.
Bleagh.
Especially the self-review. I'm totally stuck on the 'annual goals for 2014', because my actual goal for 2014 is 'get a job that pays better and is not here' and that is rather too honest to submit to my current employers.

- become familiar with the database administration routines to generate reports?
- participate in another Process Improvement Team?
- take training on QC procedure?
- something about management training (because I want more money, and working as a tech has plateaued)
It's a pain in the ass and not at all fun.
ETA: I think definitely asking for more management-type training is the thing to do, since I want to move away from what I'm doing. I've been doing tech work for 5 years at this company, and there is no place left to advance in my current office.

That's not actually that helpful, or at least not the kind of positive goals the company likes to see.
