Advice on flash drive?

Anyone know what I should do to get my computer to acknowledge my flash drive? I want to take my mini_nanowrimo with me when I go off for Thanksgiving, but the computer is ignoring it.

I had to install Generic USB driver. My computer, he is dumb.

At least you got it working. I wouldn't have thought of that since you have XP on it. *g*
