Because MDSW was cancelled this year, I missed the interesting crafts (mostly basketry) that are on offer, as well as all of the fibers, yarns, spindles, and such that is the main draw. Instead, I've been browsing through my favorite shops on Etsy.

There's a local glass artist who makes paleo and bio themed art. I just got a plate from them!



It's a Tully Monster, recently determined to probably be an early vertebrate relative!

I have a plush toy Tully Monster as well. The artist is local to me and does a lot of paleontology-themed glass. When I saw this one on their etsy, I knew I had to have it.
