While there is almost certainly a number of Rheinbachs as well, I was thinking of the Hamburg suburb of Reinbek, near-ish to where I grew up :)

The spinning wheel has been cleaned in the meantime (it's apparently a completely different color!), and M's fiancé has agreed to make a new treadle for it despite the surprise purchase. M also stopped by yesterday to pick up their knitting which they'd totally forgotten at our place, and kick-start Ell on her brand new drop spindle. It's going well so far!
