well, I'm pretty sure it's the story "Mountain Ways" has a sedoretu that's 3 women and 1 man. Otoh, a female order member that we know nothing about but she's dead is very convenient. In SPN, we know very little about Jess except that she died and Sam loved her, so I'm going to have to be making up a lot of her personality out of whole cloth.

You and the other people are writing different characters, right? Nothing to stop you from writing your own sedoretu fic -- it's an intriguing thought-experiment. Otoh, if she's not writing a sedoretu with gay sex, than she's really missed the point of LeGuin's writing, which is all about anthropology and social engineering...
