Cookware existence failure

Last night, when I was unloading the dishwasher, the handle snapped off of my stockpot (which I've had since college). Therefore it's time to get a new stockpot.

Fortunately, I'm getting my annual bonus next month, and Le Creuset is having a sale starting March 1st. I think I'll go to the local store and see what they have in stockpots...

The handle can't be repaired? Or do you just not want to try to do it?

The bolts holding the handle on rusted through and the bracket inside the handle looks pretty corroded, so no, I don't think it could be repaired easily.

If you want it for a dye-pot, I can let you have it, no prob.

What is it made of and how big is it?

It's probably a few gallons and it's made out of aluminum or some alloy that's very light.

They don't have my color anymore (Kiwi -- a lovely lime green) but I'm sure I can find something I like. Le Creuset makes such wonderful stuff, and it last forever.
