Dale and Skylar, and Mimi, Bonnie and Stanley -- those were the two plots that didn't get coated with incompetency porn. Admittedly, Dale and Skylar had to *interact* with incompetents fairly often, and Mimi started out ignorant, but she learned.

Oh, a post-apoc SF show was what I wanted -- if they just used the thriller as a plotline, instead of trying to make it the genre.
