Well, maybe it's not trunked after all...
I might be able to salvage the "Gabriel's Vessel as a 10th century Norseman" story, since I realized that Muncie, Indiana (where 5.19 ended) and Cicero is about 40 miles as the crow files.
However, given what happened in the season finale, that means it would be *Dean* finding Hrafn, which seems to me like a recipe for homicide, given how Dean and Hrafn's personalities and cultural expectations would clash. Hrafn is much more likely to interpret Dean's casual and misogynistic slurs as insults worth killing over if Sam *isn't* there to sit on them both...
